You are only entitled to continued payment of wages if there is a four-week uninterrupted employment relationship between you and a partner company via Zenjob. This is therefore only possible under the following conditions:
- You have a working student job through Zenjob
OR - You have signed an employment contract (not your general agreement), which includes shifts for a period of at least 4 weeks
Important: We require a medical certificate for the shifts you have cancelled, otherwise this claim will expire.
In short-term employment you have to sumbit your sick note within 2 days.
As a working student you have to submit your sick note on day 1 of your illness.
The following points must be noted on a certificate of incapacity for work:
- Personal data ( name, address, date of birth)
- Date of issue
- Incapacity for work since and up to and including the last day of incapacity for work
- Signature and stamp of the doctor
In the event of incapacity to work due to illness, continued payment of remuneration shall be made in accordance with the relevant provisions of the GVP collective agreement, currently § 10 MTV GVP, in conjunction with the Continued Remuneration Act (EFZG) for a period of up to six weeks. The entitlement arises after four weeks of uninterrupted duration of the employment relationship.
