If you want to terminate your working student contract, you will find all the important information here.
When can I terminate?
This depends on the probationary period defined in your contract. Please refer to Section 3.3 under § 3 Begin / Duration / Probationary Period in your employment contract for details.
- Is your probationary period over? The legal notice period of 4 weeks applies, terminating either on the 15th or at the end of the calendar month.
- Is your probationary period not over yet? In that case, the following notice periods apply:
- Up to the 4th week = Notice period of 2 days
- From the 5th week until the end of the 2nd month = Notice period of 1 week
- From the 3rd month until the end of the 6th month = Notice period of 2 weeks
IMPORTANT: Take the required postal transit time into account. The calculation of the notice period starts only upon receipt of your written notice. If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday, the deadline ends on the next working day.
When is my termination legally valid?
Your termination must be sent as an originally signed written document by post to the Zenjob headquarters. Otherwise, it is not legally valid, and you remain contractually obligated.
