The granting of your vacation is governed by the relevant provisions of the GVP collective agreement, currently § 9 MTV GVP. The calculation and amount of vacation pay are also based on § 10 MTV GVP.
The number of hours of a vacation day is calculated from your average working hours.
You can calculate your holiday entitlement as follows:
In the first year, you are entitled to 25 vacation days for a 5-day work week.
For part-time employees, the holiday entitlement is calculated proportionally based on the number of days you work.
For example, if the 20 hours are spread over 3 days, you calculate it as follows:
25 holiday days (per year) : 5 (days in a week) x 3 (number of shifts per week) = 15 holiday days per year
15 holiday days per year : 12 months = 1.25 holiday days per month
You should submit your vacation 2-4 weeks in advance. You have to discuss your vacation with Zenjob as well as with the partner company.
