You are entitled to continued payment of wages in the event of illness from the fifth week of employment, provided you send us a medical certificate (sick note) within 24 hours of reporting sick.
The following points must be noted on a certificate of incapacity for work:
- Personal data (name, address)
- Date of issue
- Incapacity for work since and up to and including the last day of incapacity for work
- Signature and stamp of the doctor
In the case of an online certificate: Note that personal or telephone contact with the doctor has taken place (in the case of so-called online certificates, the certificate has a second page where this is noted, or above the doctor's stamp on the certificate there is a note that it was a telephone consultation or similar).
