Your wages at Zenjob are divided into a partial payment (Abschlagzahlung) per job and one payment of the remaining wages (Restgehalt) per month.
The partial payment (Abschlagzahlung) is paid 2 to 3 working days after your job.
The remaining wages (Restgehalt) will be transferred by the 15th of the following month at the latest.
The partial payment (Abschlagszahlung) is up to 50% of your gross income. (What's the difference between net income and gross income?). To receive this payment, all we need to know is your working hours for the relevant shift, which you communicate to us using the check-in and check-out function in the Zenjob app.
We will transfer the second half of your wages or your total remaining wages (Restgehalt) for all shifts that you have completed within a month by the 15th of the following month. Occasionally the receipt of your wages in your account is delayed by 1 - 2 days due to public holidays, weekends and bank transit times.
Please note: Any income tax (Which deductions or taxes come out of my earnings?) will be deducted from the second half of your wages, but of course this relates to the total wage you earn in a month. You will therefore only receive the net amount of your monthly wages in total, but this will only become clear when the second half is transferred.
The total wages of the individual jobs are therefore usually calculated from the net deductions, the gross total wages and the wage tax.
You can access your payslip (Lohnabrechnung) via your Zenjob app, where you will also find your wage tax statement (LSt-AN statements) and social security registration statement (SV-AN- AG statements). We recommend that you check your payslip (Lohnabrechnung) regularly so that you can see how your wage is made up.
