Working student jobs via Zenjob are designed to enable you to plan your income better and therefore have a contract duration of 3 - 18 months.
How long can I work as a working student via Zenjob?
A working student contract stipulates weekly working hours of between 12 and 20 hours. The exact number of hours can be found in the respective job offer.
Due to the higher earnings, working student jobs are subject to income tax, which is automatically deducted from your gross wages.

You cannot remain covered by family health insurance for the duration of the working student contract, as the regular income limit for family insurance is around €565. You are therefore covered by student health insurance for the duration of the job. You must register for this yourself with a health insurance company of your choice.
