Working student jobs are explicitly marked as such in the app. They offer you long-term perspective and planning reliability during your studies.
Key employment details:
- Contract duration: Between 3 and 18 months.
- Working hours: Generally between 12 and 20 hours per week (exact times are listed in the app).
- Semester break: You’re allowed to increase your working hours to up to 40 hours per week during lecture-free periods.
Important information about your working hours
Please note that the working hours agreed upon in the contract — which we define together before your start — are your mandatory working hours.
Important: Please only apply for the job if you can guarantee that you'll be able to meet these weekly hours. Of course, for exceptions like exam periods, you can request vacation time in advance.
Application process & next steps
- Application: Simply apply as usual directly in the app.
- Phone interview: If your profile fits, we’ll give you a call to discuss your tasks and shift schedule.
- Contract signing: Ideally, we’ll invite you to sign the contract right after the call.
- Start of work: You’ll be under contract with Zenjob for the agreed duration and work weekly fixed shifts at the partner company.
