You don't have a main job anymore, you are now studying full-time at a state-recognized university and would still like to continue working flexibly through Zenjob? You can continue to work with us as a student.
Step 1: Re-register with a different email address of your choice and indicate that you are studying.
Step 2: Reach out to us to give us a heads up using the Submit a request button and let us know that you have successfully completed your registration as a student, so that we can transfer your data from the old profile to the new one.
Why do I have to contact you after successful activation?
We need this notification from you so that we can check whether the two-month break has been observed and to transfer the days worked in the short-term employment in the current calendar.
Short-term jobs fall under what is called the 70-day rule. This means that by law you can either job five or more shifts every week for a maximum of three months at a time, or job fewer days a week but work no more than 70 days in total for the year. This doesn't apply per employer, but to all short-term jobs combined.
If you exceed this limit, you will be liable for social security contributions and will have to pay additional contributions for the year.
In order to track whether you fall within the 70-day regulation, we at Zenjob need to be informed all your jobs and employers.
