At Zenjob, we place the highest value on punctuality. As soon as you are booked for a shift, we firmly expect you to arrive on time. Delays and the resulting complications cause us to lose the trust of our partner companies which ultimately means we can offer fewer jobs to all Zenjobbers.
If you do find yourself running late, please follow these steps:
- Do not cancel the shift: Please do not cancel the shift in the app just because you are running late. Instead, make your way to work and follow the next steps.
- Inform us immediately: Contact us immediately in writing via the Help Center or our chat to report your delay.
- State the reason & duration: In your message, be sure to explicitly state the reason for your delay and how much later you will arrive for your shift. If the delay is caused by public transport issues, please attach screenshots or photos as proof.
- Inform the company: You can additionally inform the partner company about your delay via the Zenjob chat under Profile → Chat with a company so they can adjust accordingly on-site.
Please note: Depending on the extent and the reason of your delay, you may receive a strike.
