Our goal is to be as fair as possible to both our Zenjobbers and our partner companies, ensuring a successful collaboration. That is why there are rights and responsibilities that everyone must follow.
If you legitimately disagree with a consequence you received (warning, strike, or deactivation) , you can submit an appeal directly in the Zenjob app.
You can find the appeal function directly in your Zenjob app under Profile → My conduct overview. Click on Appeal next to the relevant misconduct to submit your description of the incident and any supporting evidence. Please read the appeal guidelines carefully beforehand.
You can submit your appeal in the app within 40 days of receiving the consequence. The appeal deadline is displayed for each incident. If the deadline has passed, we will no longer process the case.
If the appeal function is not available, it means the case has already been processed by a Zenjob team member.
How to properly file an appeal:
1. Check if your appeal is justified
Please only submit an appeal if you can plausibly explain that the situation occurred differently than recorded.
Without comprehensible evidence, we will not process your appeal. Furthermore, we will not process any appeals that contain disrespectful remarks towards others. This helps us ensure the review process remains efficient.
2. Explain exactly what happened
In the free-text field in the app, give us a truthful and detailed explanation of what happened. Include specific reasons (such as train cancellations or family emergencies) as well as exact dates and locations. Use the following questions as a guide:
- What happened?
- Why did it happen?
- Where and when did it happen?
- Are there any witnesses? If so, please provide their names.
3. Upload evidence
Your appeal has the highest chance of success if you have evidence to support your arguments. Evidence can include screenshots of train delays, messages, tickets, etc. Please always upload these directly with your appeal. It is not possible to upload them later.
What happens next?
After submitting your appeal, it will be reviewed by our team, and you will be notified of the result in the app. Please note that the decision is final and submitting another appeal in the app is not possible. If the appeal is successful, your consequence will be automatically lifted and removed from your account.
