The strike system at Zenjob is designed to document unreliable, incorrect, or unacceptable behavior. If you receive a strike, it will be noted on your profile. Strikes have no impact on the number of job offers you receive.
Your strikes are only visible to you and Zenjob and are not shared with our partner companies.
Where can I see my strikes in the app?
You can easily keep track of your current status at any time. Your warnings and strikes can be viewed in the Zenjob app under Profile → My conduct overview.
What are the consequences of strikes?
Accumulating three strikes leads to the immediate deactivation of your Zenjob account. You can find a detailed list of which behaviors result in strikes in this article: Overview of Misconduct and Consequences at Zenjob.
How can I remove a strike?
You can remove an active strike by completing 5 consecutive shifts without any incidents. The strike will then be removed automatically. All shifts worked after the affected shift will be counted. Please note that the counting of the shifts only begins from the date of the respective incident. The strike will be removed as soon as we have successfully confirmed your attendance for those 5 shifts. Important: Training shifts or shifts with a new incident do not count.
What should I do in the event of an unforeseen incident (e.g., an accident)?
Of course, unforeseen incidents can happen. If, for example, you are running late for your job due to a traffic accident, please contact us immediately via the Help Center or the chat.
Check in via the app as soon as you arrive on site and begin your work.
What can I do if I disagree with a consequence?
We always strive to manage the strike system fairly and to ensure the satisfaction of both our Zenjobbers and our partner companies. If you legitimately disagree with a consequence you received (a warning, strike, or deactivation), you can submit an appeal directly in the app.
You can find more information about the exact process here: Guidelines for filing an appeal.
