If you cannot make it to a job due to health reasons, cancel your shift within the app as soon as possible.
Important: Canceling a booking after the start of the shift will result in the permanent deactivation of your Zenjob account. This applies even in cases of illness and with a valid sick note (AU).

Please cancel your shift directly in the Zenjob app under My jobs → Booked. Select the relevant job and provide the reason for your cancellation.
Cancel your booking via the app. If you have been booked for a shift, you can select the corresponding job under My Jobs → Booked and cancel it by stating a reason.
Please note: If you cancel a block shift, each shift within the block is counted as an individual cancellation.
If you are unable to cancel the job via the app, please contact us via the chat or click Submit a request and send us a screenshot or screen recording of the error message.
Once we have received your cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email shortly.
Please submit your sick note (AU) within 2 days via the app. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in our Help Center article: Where do I upload my sick note (Arbeitsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung)?
If you need to cancel a shift on a weekend or holiday and can't find an open doctor's office, leave a message (email, voicemail, etc.) with the doctor so you can obtain a sick note retrospectively. Alternatively, you can request a sick note from various online providers.
