If you're currently not seeing any job offers or you're unable to apply for jobs, there could be several reasons. Here’s what you can check yourself:
1. Your account is incomplete
-
Your current enrolment certificate is missing
Upload a valid enrolment certificate for the current semester via the app. -
Your residence permit is about to expire or has already expired
Upload your valid residence permit via the app. -
You need to renew your digital signature
You can only apply for jobs if you’re successfully verified for the digital signature. If your ID or residence permit has expired, you’ll need to verify again.
2. Your general agreement has expired
Your Zenjob general agreement is valid for one year or a maximum of 70 working days. Once one of these two limits is reached, you are legally required to take a two-month break. Around two weeks before the end of this break, you’ll automatically receive a task in your Zenjob app prompting you to reactivate your account.

3. You’ve already worked 70 days either in the calendar year or within your general agreement
-
70 days within your general agreement
You must now take a legally required two-month break before you can take on new jobs. -
70 days within a calendar year
You can only start accepting jobs again in the new calendar year.
4. We haven’t received a reply to our inquiries
If we’ve asked you to clarify something about your documents, primary employment, or job reliability (e.g. delays or no-shows), we may pause your account for new jobs. If we don’t receive a reply, this could even lead to deactivation. Please check your email inbox and spam folder regularly.
5. There’s currently low job volume
Our job volume heavily depends on our partner companies. They decide when and how much support they need and place bookings accordingly. This means there might be temporary periods with no suitable job offers for you. Job availability may also fluctuate seasonally, for example, a summer slump in retail or a winter peak in hospitality during the holiday season.
