If you're currently seeing significantly fewer job offers in your Zenjob app, there could be several reasons for this. Here’s how you can check what might be causing it and what to do to see more jobs.
1. Your documents are about to expire
You need to have a valid general agreement and up-to-date documents uploaded so we can show you job offers.
If one of these documents is about to expire, we can only show you jobs up until that date.
2. All job offers are set in the future
In this case, we most likely don’t have your current certificate of enrolment on file.
Please upload it in your app under Profile → My Documents.
3. Seasonal trends
The volume of available jobs changes throughout the year depending on industry and company needs. That’s completely normal.
- Fewer jobs are available in retail during the summer holidays and in many industries at the beginning of the year (January–March).
- More jobs are available during Christmas in retail, logistics & hospitality—or in the summer at events, beer gardens & gastronomy.
4. Low booking volume
The number of available jobs depends primarily on the current demand of our partner companies. If they don’t need support right now, job volume will drop.
In smaller cities, this could mean that you see significantly fewer offers or only jobs from one job category.
5. Updated job requirements
Over time, our partner companies may update the requirements for their jobs. As a result, some jobs may disappear from your feed and new ones may be added.
That’s why it’s important to always keep your account up to date.
Helpful tips to make sure you don’t miss out on job offers:
- Many jobs require German language skills. Make sure this is reflected in your account.
- German placement test: To start the test, click here.
- The test can only be taken once.
- German certificate: Upload your certificate via this link. Please use your phone for the upload.

- Upload any additional qualifications such as a certificate of conduct or forklift license under Profile → My Documents.
- Complete our digital cashier or service training in the app under Profile → Trainings & Equipment, or here via your phone.
- Join a candidate pool. You’ll find offers under Job Feed → Unlock Job Offers.
- Enable push notifications in the app.
- Reset your job filters to view all open jobs again.
- Go online regularly so the system knows you're actively searching.
- Actively reject unwanted “Flexible Jobs” to make room for new offers.
